Ten mahallas of Jizzakh city competed in business
For women living in Jizzakh mahallas, business acumen, determination, and hard work are grandmothers’ inheritance. Due to the great attention paid by the state in recent years, the number of women engaged in individual, family, and other types of business is increasing in Jizzakh. The qualifying stage of the “Businesswoman – 2024” competition in mahallas provides an opportunity for them to express themselves, exchange experiences, and communicate closely with representatives of deputies and partner organizations. Today, there are 32 mahallas in Jizzakh. Because there are many eager applicants to participate in the competition, the mahalla selection stages are organized by region. One of such selection stages was organized by the citizens’ assembly of “Olmazor” mahalla, and businesswomen from 10 neighboring mahallas participated in it. According to the jury members, Gulnora Ismatullayeva, head of the family enterprise Khadija Baraka Mahsulotlari from Olmazor MCA, Dilafruz Ikromova from Zilol mahalla, Dildora Emilova from Kimyogar MCA, Dilnoza Uktamova from Qaliya MCA, Mubashira Imamqulova from Zargarlik MCA, Kholida Murodova from Toshloq MCA, Gulmira Suyunova from Yoshlik MCA, Maftuna Toshmatova from Turon MCA, Hulkaroy Mahamadova from Shodlik MCA, Khabiba Usmonova from Qassoblik MCA, Sanobar Yusupova from Jizzakhlik mahalla were recognized as the winners of the preliminary qualifying stage of the competition. They were awarded certificates of appreciation and souvenirs from the Jizzakh Regional Party Organization.
