The UzLiDeP and the UzMTDP factions signed an agreement to establish the Development Bloc. This bloc unites 93 deputies, forming a majority in parliament and becoming a leading political force.

It should be emphasized that this bloc, under the leadership of the President, has, in a short period, become an essential step in steadfastly continuing the historic reforms in the country. These include supporting entrepreneurship, strengthening education, healthcare, and social protection, reducing poverty, pursuing a policy of openness, and enhancing the nation’s economy and international standing.

This bloc serves to realize our people’s will and determination to build a free and prosperous, powerful New Uzbekistan, to create all opportunities for every citizen to develop their potential, and to nurture a healthy, educated, and morally mature generation. It also fully supports the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy and the government program aimed at its implementation, which are designed to shape a strong economy as a vital link in global production, and to ensure justice, the rule of law, security, and stability.

Furthermore, the Development Bloc is also a vital institution for implementing several tasks set out in the UzLiDeP election program. In particular, uniting the votes of 93 deputies is crucial in several key areas, including reducing state participation in the national economy, increasing export potential, transitioning monopolized sectors to market principles, safeguarding every citizen’s right to private property, and encouraging economic freedom to improve living standards. In addition, the bloc will stand firmly against any attempts to suppress freedom of speech, support the development of an independent press system, and consistently advance policies of freedom and openness. It will also work to enhance the quality of education, develop human potential, support non-state educational institutions, and foster a healthy competitive environment between state and non-state educational organizations.

In addition, cooperation with the UzMTDP faction will extend to areas such as digitalizing the healthcare system, introducing medical insurance, developing non-state medical institutions, simplifying the tax administration system, and ensuring fair and equal conditions for all entrepreneurs in tax payments.

I believe that through this bloc, the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan and the Democratic Party “Milliy Tiklanish” will strengthen their cooperation in the pursuit of common interests. This initiative will serve our national interests and contribute to transforming the country into an even more developed, strong, just, and modern state.
