A regular meeting of the UzLiDeP parliamentary group in the Council of People’s Deputies of Khorezm region was held. The participants discussed the work being carried out by the regional office of the Youth Affairs Agency.

It was emphasized that systematic measures are being implemented to protect the rights and interests of young people, involve them in entrepreneurship, and ensure their employment. In particular, in accordance with Presidential Resolution PR-62 of February 14, 2025, “On additional measures to develop youth entrepreneurship and ensure employment”, Aloqabank allocated 83.343 billion UZS in preferential loans to 881 young people who expressed interest in starting a business. As a result, 1,029 new jobs have been created.

To organize young people’s free time more meaningfully, more than 669,000 youth have been engaged within the framework of the “Five Initiatives Olympiad”.

To strengthen young people’s interest in vocational skills, the “Ustoz AI” and “Girls’ Academy” platforms are being implemented, while the “Ibrat Farzandlari” project offers free foreign language education, and the “Mutolaa” program promotes a culture of reading.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that cooperation with local enterprises must be further strengthened to ensure the employment of graduates of vocational colleges.
