01 Relevance
The “UzLiDeP Volunteer Club” project plays an important part in developing young people’s social responsibility, civic stance and patriotism. It keeps young people active in tackling social problems, helping people in need and protecting the environment.
The project helps young people build self-organisation and initiative and, through hands-on involvement in party events and local councils, increases their influence on public life. This strengthens patriotism, social solidarity and a culture of volunteering, and contributes to people’s quality of life and the wellbeing of society as a whole.
In short, the project is a timely and effective way to increase young people’s civic engagement and develop their social responsibility.
02 Project goal
To foster civic responsibility, patriotism and a sense of public service among young people, to engage them actively in solving social problems, to develop a culture of solidarity and mutual help among the public, and to strengthen young people’s capacity for self-organisation and initiative.
Helping society, protecting the environment, taking part in socially important events with the consent of their organisers; building a civic stance, self-organisation, social responsibility, solidarity, mutual help and compassion; providing volunteer assistance to the relevant agencies and organisations in natural or man-made emergencies; and taking part in and supporting events organised by the party.
03 Objectives
- Helping society, protecting the environment and taking part in socially important events with the consent of their organisers; building a civic stance, self-organisation, social responsibility, solidarity, mutual help and compassion in society. Establishing strong ties with the Association of Volunteers of Uzbekistan, identifying the most dedicated young party members, admitting them to the party volunteer club and keeping them involved in community work.
04 Main formats
- Setting up volunteer clubs of 50–100 people in each region and 20–30 people in each district or city;
- Taking part in helping society, in socially important events and in environmental protection;
- Holding meetings, seminars and structured training courses for volunteers;
- Taking an active part in, and helping with, party events and local councils;
- Cooperating and sharing experience with the Association of Volunteers of Uzbekistan.
05 Expected results
The project will shape an active, enterprising and socially responsible generation of young people. A culture of solidarity and mutual help will grow stronger in society, support for vulnerable groups will develop, and patriotism and civic engagement will be reinforced. Volunteer work will be carried out effectively and economically at party events and in local councils, young people’s social initiatives will be supported, and healthy lifestyle habits will spread among the public.
