Measures to develop tourism and reduce food prices discussed in Andijan

Over the past eight years, 40 new tourist routes have been established in Andijan, and the region has welcomed 1.595 million foreign and 7.584 million domestic tourists. As a result, tourism service exports reached $509.2 million. Medical tourism, in particular, has been growing, with 7,760 foreign nationals coming to Andijan for inpatient treatment and 12,570 for outpatient services.

The public hearing also paid particular attention to ensuring the affordability of food products for the public.

At the conclusion of the hearing, the proposals and views expressed by the deputies were summarized, and priority areas to safeguard the interests of the population and entrepreneurs were identified.
