A prosperous family foundation is built on mutual respect, protection, and trust

At the initiative of the Kashkadarya Regional Council of UzLiDeP, a roundtable discussion on protecting women’s rights and interests was held in Karshi district as part of the nationwide “Together with the People” program and the “Prosperous Family” project. The event brought together 120 specialists, active women, and representatives of partner organizations. The discussion focused on preventing harassment and violence, improving women’s legal awareness, fostering a healthy family environment, and providing women with psychological and legal assistance.
Representatives of the Kashkadarya Regional Court, Koson District Court, the Regional Department for Family and Women’s Affairs, the Department of Internal Affairs, a rehabilitation center, and the National Agency for Social Protection took part in the event and provided participants with legal and practical guidance. These discussions help women become aware of their rights, remain vigilant in cases of harassment and violence, and clearly understand which competent authorities to contact when necessary. As participant G. Kholmurodova noted, peace and harmony in the family begin, above all, with mutual respect and understanding.
A prosperous family is not merely a financially secure household but one in which every member feels protected, valued, and surrounded by an atmosphere of trust. In this regard, the project helps identify problems early and find practical solutions, with the participation of relevant organizations.
