Road problem resolved in Suyenli mahalla
A long-standing road issue affecting residents of Suyenli mahalla in Khojayli district has been resolved after an on-site public reception held under UzLiDeP’s nationwide “Together with the People” program.
The 2.5-kilometer main road connecting two parts of the mahalla had fallen into disrepair, causing considerable difficulties for residents, especially during rainy weather.
Following an appeal from residents, a working group comprising representatives of relevant organizations and deputies was established at the initiative of Guljan Khalmuratova, a UzLiDeP deputy in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis. The group conducted an on-site assessment of the problem and identified practical measures to repair the road and improve travel conditions for residents.
At the deputy’s initiative, a project to repair and asphalt the mahalla’s internal roads was selected as a winning proposal under the Participatory Budgeting program. The 2.5-kilometer road has now been fully repaired and resurfaced with asphalt.
