A regular meeting of the deputy group of Shumanay district council of UzLiDeP has taken place.

The report of the Deputy Head of the Department for Investments and Foreign Trade of Shumanay district B. Kydyrbayev on activities for the implementation of investment projects and tasks planned for the first half of the year for the future was heard at the meeting.

It was noted that currently there are 367 business entities operating in the district, of which 76 are manufacturing enterprises.

Over the past six months, industrial products were produced for 80.7 billion UZS, the growth rate increased by 3.3 times. At present, at the expense of foreign investments in the amount of $2.0 million, LLC LIANTAY KC LICORICE plans to implement a large-scale licorice processing project and employ 120 people. This will play an important role in providing employment for the population of the district, especially young people.

The deputies expressed their opinions and judgments on the issues considered at the meeting. The district council of the party outlined the priority tasks and made appropriate decisions.
