A joint meeting of the UzLiDeP deputy group in the Khorezm regional council of people`s deputy and standing committee on the issues of law enforcement, law and order and security of citizens was held.

During the meeting, the information of the chairman of the Khorezm regional economic court Sh. Kodirov and the chairman of the Khorezm regional civil court J. Nafasov were heard about the work carried out in 2017 to ensure justice in judicial bodies.

– According to the decree of the head of our state "On measures to radically improve the structure and improve the efficiency of the judicial system of the Republic of Uzbekistan" dated February 21, 2017,  Khorezm regional economic court was transformed into Khorezm regional economic court and Bagat, Urgench, Shavat inter-district economical courts were created – said Sh. Kodirov. – Last year, 16,071 statements of claim were submitted to economic courts, 14,926 of them were positively resolved, judicial acts were adopted to recover more than 297.4 billion soums in favor of the plaintiffs. At the same time, 1,307 statements of claim and appeals were received in electronic format, and 3125 applications were reviewed and resolved.

At the meeting, the information of J. Nafasov was heard and the measures to introduce the issues discussed into the agenda of the regular session of the regional Kengash of people's deputies were taken.
