REPORT of the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businesspeople – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan on the execution of the 2020 budget and the main budget indicators for 2021

Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businesspeople – the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan was established on 15 November 2003, passed state registration at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 3 December 2003 and re-registered under No. 563 on 18 January 2006.

In the organizational and structural aspect, the party consists of 14 with the status of a legal entity, and 207 district and city party branches that do not have the status of a legal Karakalpak, regional and Tashkent city council entity.

In 2020, 665 people worked in the party’s executive office, including 61 people in the Executive Committee of the Part’s Political Council, 604 people in regional party organizations and district (city) councils.

As of January 1, 2020, 678 staff units were financed at all levels of the party from the budget, including 74 in the office of the Executive Committee of the Political Council of the party, in the offices of Karakalpak, regional and Tashkent city councils – 245, in the offices of district (city) councils – 359. Financing of additional staff units was carried out at the expense of local economic entities.

As of 1 January 2020, the balance of funds on the settlement accounts of the party amounted to 1 billion 930 million 448 thousand soums. In 2020, receipts to the settlement accounts of the party amounted to 35 billion 306 million 431 thousand UZS, including from the state budget – 29 billion 577 million 131 thousand UZS, from membership fees – 5 billion 397 million 315 thousand UZS, receipts from sponsors and as charitable assistance – 51 million 477 thousand UZS, income from entrepreneurial activities – 102 million 310 thousand UZS, other receipts – 119 million 545 thousand UZS, funds allocated for local elections – 57 million 451 thousand UZS.

The costs of implementing the Statutory activities of the party in 2020 amounted to 32 billion 965 million 670 thousand UZS, including the current costs of supporting the party’s executive apparatus – 30 billion 226 million 337 thousand UZS, organizing speeches of party members on TV, radio and other mass media, publishing and distribution of visual outreach materials – 339 million 837 thousand UZS, conducting workshops and trainings on training party activists – 13 million 955 thousand UZS, holding conferences and congresses – 126 million 500 thousand UZS, costs for utilities and maintenance services related to the preservation and use of the party’s property – 1 billion 998 million 488 thousand UZS, expenses for preparing and holding elections – 51 million 451 thousand UZS, other costs – 204 million 923 thousand UZS, as well as 4 million 175 thousand UZS allocated for the elections and not used were returned to the settlement account of the CEC.

As of January 1, 2021, the balance of funds on the party’s settlement accounts amounted to 4 billion 271 million 209 thousand UZS.

It is expected that in 2021 the party’s budget will amount to 49 billion 640 million 259 thousand UZS, of which 33 billion 069 million 023 thousand UZS will be funds allocated from the state budget, 12 billion 27 thousand UZS – membership fees, 100 million UZS – funds from charitable assistance, 200 million UZS – funds from entrepreneurial activities, 4 billion 271 million 209 thousand – residual funds on the settlement accounts of the party.

The party plans to distribute the main indicators of the 2021 budget in the following order: For the running costs of the party’s Executive Committee – 85 percent, organizing speeches of party members on TV, radio and other media, publishing and distributing visual outreach materials 1.5 percent, providing assistance to print media party body – 1 percent, holding conferences, party congresses – 1 percent, conducting workshops and trainings to train party activists – 2 percent, utilities and maintenance services related to the preservation and use of party property – 8.5 percent, other costs – 1 percent.
