A group of deputies and senators led by the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Political Council of UzLiDeP Aktam Khaitov visited the Khorezm region.

A conversation took place on the essence and significance of the amendments and additions to the Constitution at the field camp of “Rajap ota Jumanov” farm in Urgench district. It was attended by deputies of the local council, farmers and owners of household plots, activists of the “Yuqori Ovul” mahalla.

The leader of the party spoke about the importance of adopting an updated Constitution through a referendum, organizing a high-level nationwide discussion, open and public discussion of the draft Constitution at meetings of the chambers of parliament.

During the conversation, farmers and owners of household plots noted that in recent years, activity has been carried out in the country to protect the rights and legitimate interests of farms and owners of household plots, the population’s opportunities to receive additional income are expanding, high-quality and cheap agricultural products are supplied to the markets.

Large-scale reforms have been carried out in agriculture and land use, and this process continues. The law stipulates that agricultural land is leased and is the main source of meeting the needs of the population in food products.

Last and this year, in accordance with the resolutions of the Head of state, 200,000 hectares of land were allocated to farms, as a result, 1.5 million unemployed young people and women got jobs.

At the same time, the definition in the Constitution, in accordance with the law, of the possibility of privatizing unused agricultural land provided justice, which entrepreneurs have long been waiting for. This provided ample opportunities for businesspeople. Now the market value of the land provided to them will be formed and the land will become capital, will contribute to the creation of a value chain.

The participants of the event, who fully support the reforms being carried out in the country, approved with satisfaction the forthcoming important political event taking place for the first time in the history of the country – the adoption of the draft Constitutional law by a referendum.
